A chirola refers to a small amount of money, the minimum value, or an insignificant amount. If something is worth only a chirola, it is essentially worthless. This term is often used in Argentina, Uruguay, and Chile to express that something is overpriced or not worth the cost.
In Spain, to be genuinely trustworthy and reliable — a person whose word is their bond and who consistently follows through on what they say. High praise in a culture that values loyalty.
Bold self-confidence mixed with shamelessness — speaking or acting with zero filter and total ease. Can be admired as natural charisma or criticized as pure audacity depending on context. That person who walks into any room and owns it, for better or worse.

Very badly, chaotically, and without any order whatsoever. In Argentina when something goes 'a las patadas' it went terribly and there's no fixing it. Can also mean doing something hastily and sloppily.
