A blabbermouth, loudmouth, or someone who can't keep their mouth shut about other people's business. A bocón always manages to be the one who spills the secret, ruins the surprise, or shares what they should have kept private.
A person who is very well-groomed, with their hair slicked back with gel, and dressed in an exaggerated, flashy manner. Also refers to someone who thinks very highly of themselves.
A dramatic and visible positive transformation — physical, emotional, or in lifestyle. A glow up means you changed for the better in a way everyone can see, and it often happens after a difficult period like a breakup or hard year.
To act tough or put on a brave front, especially when the situation doesn't call for it. In Argentina and Cuba, "guapear" is all attitude and no substance, it's puffing out your chest, talking big, and trying to intimidate people, but usually folding the moment someone actually challenges you.
To intentionally forget something, dismiss its importance, and actively choose not to carry the burden of it, often as a means of moving on or starting anew.
