Meaning

Going around gossiping, talking about other people's business, or sticking your nose where it does not belong. From "chambre" (gossip), turned into a verb. Very Mexican: the person chambreando is always the first to know everyone's business and the last to keep quiet about it.

Regional synonyms

In Panama, Guatemala, and Honduras, a casual informal way to refer to a guy or just some dude. More neutral in tone than in other Spanish-speaking countries, where the same word can carry negative or racial connotations.
