/Sounds like "OH" (as in "oh") + "SEH" (as in "set") + "ah" (as in "art") + "TEE" (as in "tea") + "poh" (as in "port")/

Meaning

A classic filler combo in Mexican youth speech that combines "o sea" and "tipo" to introduce an explanation or example. It adds no real meaning, just pads out the sentence, like saying "I mean, like."

Examples

I mean, like, he didn't even warn me and there I was waiting like an idiot.

It was weird, I mean, like, I don't even know how to explain it.

Regional synonyms

Completely, truly, without any doubt at all. In Mexico, "de a tiro" intensifies any statement and leaves no room for halfway measures. Think "totally," "absolutely," or "for real" in everyday English.
