To wink as a signal that something is agreed, there's something between two people, or as a sign of complicity. In Chile and Argentina it means you're both on the same team — no words needed.
To be very tolerant of mistakes and rule-breaking, or to have an extremely lax standard. Whoever has manga ancha sets no real limits and lets everything slide without consequence.
To be in really bad shape physically or emotionally, at the absolute limit of your strength. In Argentina when someone is falling apart, they've got nothing left. Could be physical exhaustion or a deep emotional crisis.
