A journalist, influencer, or media figure in Mexico who gets paid to publish favorable content for politicians or corporations. Bachatero
A bachata lover, someone who lives for that genre. Bachata is a romantic music style from the Dominican Republic built on guitar, bass, and bongos, and a bachatero is the person who dances it at every party, plays it at full volume, and basically lives by its sentimental, heart-on-sleeve vibe.
