Meaning

Someone who acts conceited, snobby, or full of themselves in Mexico. The "muy muy" thinks they are better than everyone else and makes sure people know it. The repetition is mocking: too much of "too much".

Examples

Do not act all muy muy, we are all equal here.

He thinks he is muy muy just because he got a promotion.

A compliment tossed at someone in public, usually about their looks. In Spanish-speaking cultures, piropos range from poetic verses to blunt flattery. How welcome they are depends entirely on context and tone: street piropos are increasingly seen as unwanted in big cities.
