Watered-down, weak, or just plain bad coffee. In Costa Rica, calling someone's brew "yodo" (literally: iodine) is the ultimate insult because it means it looks and tastes like an antiseptic. In a country that exports some of the world's finest coffee, serving bad coffee is basically a crime.
“The coffee at the office today was terrible, it tasted like nothing.”
“I hate the coffee at that branch, it's always thin and gross.”

To lose emotional control and react in a completely over-the-top or irrational way. Used in Spain. It is the equivalent of "snapping" or "losing your cool," that moment when reason steps aside and pure emotion takes over with no filter. Usually happens when something hits a nerve that was already stretched too thin.
