The Salvadoran way of saying friends, homies, buddies. "Mis cheros" means my group of close friends, the crew you roll with. Used among guanacos of all ages: from neighborhood kids to adults who kept the slang of their youth. One of the most identifiable words in Salvadoran Spanish, and along with "maje" it defines friendship tone among Guanacos.

Example

"Salimos anoche los cheros. → The crew went out last night."

"Les dije a mis cheros que nos juntáramos. → I told my buddies to meet up."
