/Sounds like "pah" (as in "park") + "SAHR" (as in "salsa") + "seh" (as in "set") + "AH" (as in "art") + "yeh" (as in "yes") + "BAHR" (as in "bar")/

Meaning

To disrespect someone, walk all over them, or ignore their boundaries as if they have no value. In Chile the metaphor is a vehicle running someone over: when someone "te pasa a llevar," they have rolled right through you without stopping.

Examples

Do not let anyone walk all over you. If they do not respect you, say it to their face.

That boss walks all over everyone with no exceptions: shows up late, cancels meetings, never gives notice.

Regional synonyms

Brother, close friend, or trusted companion. In Peru and Bolivia, manito is one of the most affectionate ways to address someone you care about: warm, familiar, and carrying genuine closeness whether or not you're actually related.
