/Sounds like "POO" (as in "pool") + "toh" (as in "toll")/

Meaning

A strong insult in Mexico used to call someone a coward or to express contempt. Also widely known for the stadium chant fans used to yell at opposing goalkeepers, which earned the Mexican national team multiple FIFA sanctions. Between close friends it can be used as an intensifier without real hostility, but context and trust matter a lot.

Examples

The whole stadium was shouting together.

Stop being a coward and just say what you think.
