Meaning

An epic, skull-cracking hangover after serious alcohol excess. In Spain, resacón is the intensified form of "resaca" (regular hangover), cranked up to a level where sunlight feels like a personal attack, getting out of bed seems impossible, and you swear you will never drink again.

Tengo un resacón tremendo, no puedo ni levantarme.

I have a brutal hangover, I can't even get out of bed.
