/Sounds like 'treh-pah-DOHR'/

A social climber who steps on others to get ahead, using flattery and manipulation instead of real merit. The trepador is always cozying up to the boss or whoever has power, completely dropping anyone who can no longer help them.

Example

"Ese trepador ya lleva tres jefes a los que usó para subir."

"No confíes en ella, es una trepadora de primera. → That climber has already used three bosses to move up."

"Don't trust her, she's a first-rate social climber."
