Something that was posted on Twitter/X and became public for the whole world to see and judge. Once a message is "tuiteado," there is no taking it back, because the internet never forgets and never forgives. Used across all Spanish speaking countries as the standard verb for tweeting.
Something extremely big, intense, or impressive. In Chile and Ecuador, "manso" is used as an intensifier to hype up anything, similar to saying "massive" or "insane" in English. You'll hear it before nouns to exaggerate how epic something was, like a barbecue, a car, or a party.
To make out passionately, to kiss intensely with tongue and zero inhibition in Chile. It is the most intense, shameless version of a kiss, practically eating each other's faces, typically seen at parties and late night hangouts. Not to be confused with the standard Spanish meaning of "to mug" or "to rob," in Chilean slang this is all about romance.
One million pesos in Colombia and Chile, the casual slang unit for talking about large amounts of money. Saying "palos" instead of "millones" saves you from having to pronounce all those scary zeros. It is the go to term in everyday conversation about salaries, prices, and big purchases.
Someone who is clueless, spacey, or completely out of the loop, like their brain is coated in breadcrumbs and nothing can get through. In Argentina, Uruguay, and Chile, calling someone "empanado" means they're slow to catch on, walking around in their own world while everything happens around them.
