A Mexican punishment or initiation that involves pouring mineral water (specifically Tehuacán brand) mixed with chile up someone's nose, classically used in military hazing, gang initiation, or brutal pranks. By extension it means any intense burning sensation in the nose or any harsh, surprise punishment. The name comes from Tehuacán, the most popular mineral water brand in Mexico.
