A Cuban adjective for a complicated, tangled situation with too many layers or conflicts. It comes from "caldo" (thick stew, broth) and gets applied metaphorically to problems, relationships, jobs, or any matter that turned messy. "Esa historia está caldosa" means the drama is served. It's a useful word for talking about Cuban politics, office gossip, or anything that spun out of control.
