/Sounds like "DAH" (as in "dart") + "ee" (as in "eagle") + "GWAHL" (as in "Guam")/

Meaning

It does not matter, either option is fine, whatever you want. "Da igual" is the answer when the outcome genuinely does not affect you. Used across Spain and much of South America, though be careful: saying it when someone wants a real opinion can come across as indifferent.

Examples

Pizza or burger? Either is fine, whatever you want.

I told him I didn't care and he got more annoyed than if I had actually chosen.

A brilliant or sneaky move that nobody saw coming. In the Caribbean, "tremenda jugada" can mean an impressive play you have to admire, or a total backstab that blindsided you. Which one it is depends entirely on which side of the move you're on.
