Meaning

In Mexico, to get thrown in jail or to lock someone up. "Tambo" is Mexican slang for prison, so entambar means to send someone straight there. Used casually when talking about arrests for street crimes or getting caught doing something you definitely should not have been doing.

If you keep getting into trouble like that, they will throw you in jail and nobody will be there to bail you out.
