Cuete
Tipsy or pleasantly drunk, in that happy, loose, uninhibited phase before things go sideways. In Mexico "cuete" also means firecracker or rocket, and the image fits: someone lit up and launched by the alcohol. It describes the fun stage of the night, not the messy one.
