/Sounds like "BRAHT" (as in "bra")/

Meaning

A rebellious, chaotic, and unapologetically authentic attitude. Popularized by Charli XCX's album, "brat" describes living life on your own terms: messy, confident, and zero apologies for who you are. It spread across Spanish-speaking social media as a personality aesthetic and lifestyle label.

Examples

This summer I am in full brat mode, I genuinely do not care.

Her brat energy is contagious, she just does whatever she wants and owns it completely.

Regional synonyms

A clumsy, useless, or incompetent person in Spain. Calling someone "tronco" means they're bad at what they're doing, like that friend who can't kick a ball straight or the coworker who messes everything up. Literally means "log" or "trunk," because a log just sits there being useless.
