Te la lavas
Mexican variant of "te lo lavas," a farewell used between close friends with deep trust. It sounds like an insult if you don't know the context, but between real friends it's pure affection: the Mexican way to say "see you later" with enough familiarity that a formal goodbye would feel awkward. If someone says it to you, you're in their inner circle. If you say it to someone you barely know, they'll probably think you just insulted them.
