/Sounds like "CHOH" (as in "chose") + "roh" (as in "row") + "mah" (as in "mark") + "reh" (as in "red") + "ah" (as in "art") + "DOHR" (as in "door")/

Meaning

A long, confusing speech designed to convince you, distract you, or weasel someone out of a tight spot. In Mexico, a choro mareador is all fancy words and zero substance: the kind of talk that leaves you dizzy ("mareado") and unsure what just happened. Salespeople, politicians, and that friend who owes you money are all experts.

Examples

The salesman gave me a half-hour pitch and I almost bought something.
