Bandera de México

/Sounds like "cho" + "ro" + "ma" (as in "mama") + "reh" + "ah" + "door"/

A long, confusing speech that someone gives to convince you, distract you, or weasel their way out of something. In Mexico, a choro mareador is all fancy words and zero substance, the kind of talk that leaves you dizzy ("mareado") and confused about what just happened. Salespeople, politicians, and that friend who owes you money are all experts at the choro mareador.

Example

"Ya con tu choro mareador, dime la verdad de una vez. -> Enough with your BS speech, just tell me the truth already."

"El vendedor me echó un choro mareador de media hora y casi le compro. -> The salesman gave me a half-hour BS pitch and I almost bought from him."
