Meaning

To completely wreck a plan or situation that was going perfectly fine. Used in Spain. The person who "jode la marrana" usually did not mean to cause damage; they just said the wrong thing, made the wrong move, or showed up at exactly the wrong moment. The pig (marrana) in the expression just makes it more vivid and colorful.
