/Sounds like "tah-POO-doh"/

A Nicaraguan word for someone who talks too much, can't keep their mouth shut, spills everything they hear or think without a filter. It's the confirmed gossip, the one always telling what happened at someone else's house. Tapudo comes from "tapa grande" (big mouth), used half-mocking, half-warning: don't tell him anything, he's tapudo.

Example

"No le digás a Juan, es bien tapudo. → Don't tell Juan, he's a total blabbermouth."

"Ese maje es tapudo. → That dude's a gossip."
