Someone who fights passionately for idealistic or impossible causes without caring about the practical cost. Named after Don Quixote from Cervantes, a "quijote" is driven by noble principles rather than realistic outcomes. Admired by some, called a fool by others, but never indifferent.
“He is a real idealist, he has been fighting that cause for years without winning anything.”
“I admire people who fight for impossible causes even when everyone around them calls them crazy.”

One of Cuba's most cutting insults, a pretentious fool who thinks they are better than they are. "Comemierda" describes someone whose arrogance and stupidity combine into a uniquely infuriating personality type. Works for the ignorant blowhard who talks about things they know nothing about, and for the snob with zero justification.
